Praise Jesus, Easter is the most important time in the Christian faith and I love to reflect on all that the Lord did for us from his Crucifixion to the day he rose again, and when he left his disciples and ascended into heaven. Some of the last things Jesus told his disciples before He ascended was "It was not you who chose me, I have chosen you, and appointed you to go and bear fruit that shall last, so that the Father may give you whatever you ask in my name." He also told them to "love one another as I have loved you." There is so much in those last words, he tells them why he has to leave and about the Holy Spirit coming. This year I have found myself coming back to these scriptures over and over and learning so much, always being amazed at God and what he has done and continues to do!
As for the bunny, he was good to the kids and they enjoyed finding their baskets and eggs.
This was our first Easter as a family on 5 and Lily's first Easter ever. We are so happy to have her home to share everyday with her, especially these most memorable days! She continues to change daily and has REALLY come out of her shell now. She gets into everything and of course everything goes directly into the mouth. She is so much fun and I am loving dressing her and doing her hair!
